Our Story

LifeChange International, established in 2001, is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to advance the Kingdom of God through the transformation of lives and living conditions of people around the world.

For many years LifeChange has worked in Uganda through its two partners there: Dwelling Places and Michael's Kids. Hundreds of children have received food and housing, thousands have been educated, a community has been transformed, land has been farmed, and a youth trade education program (including carpentry, tailoring, and computer technology) has been established. 

In the Philippines, Arise Ministries are rescuing children who have been living on the streets in appalling neglect, providing them a loving home. Arise Ministries has also founded the Lovelace Academy, a free, Christian, Private K-12 School. Through these endeavors, Arise aims to provide sustainable and eternal help to those most impoverished.

In Sicily, LifeChange has a team working with needy refugees who have fled to Italy from countries in Africa and the Middle East, helping them adjust to their new life in Europe by providing practical assistance and the Gospel message.

LifeChange also supports and partners with programs in the Middle East to reach Muslims for Christ and partners with a couple in Hungary who is engaged in marriage and family counseling throughout Europe and beyond.
